DESCRIPTION:Hatch A Hundred: Kestrel Nest Box-Building Workshop\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStart your Super Bowl weekend with a Kestrel Kickoff! Attend our nest box building workshop on February 7th from 1-3pm. This event is great for families looking for hands-on ways to help protect American kestrels. Kestrels rely on artificial cavities like nest boxes to rear their chicks. By building more boxes\, you can help provide safe nesting sites and help to stabilize and increase kestrel numbers. \n\n\n\nRegister to attend this event! Please bring work gloves\, a cordless driver and Philip’s head bit. \n\n\n\nThis program is a collaboration between Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space (FoHVOS) and Wild Bird Research Group (WBRG). Hatch a Hundred is a community-driven effort to support kestrel populations by installing and monitoring nest boxes.
